Saved a bundle on my goodie bags

Goodie bags at conferences, always nice to receive, but I wanted to go that bit further for the Expo – Why not do it on the cheap? Competitors of mine were going with some pricey full metal versions of these, but a measuring tape is a measuring tape, and my one’s features seemed to hold up pretty well.

Can’t fault this really – Nice and vibrant, even if many go into drawers, they’ll eventually come out. I think it’s durable enough to keep giving me business for a while. Just in case I quality checked my entire order. Gotta love that springy button retract function
Worth the effort

I know many of the people I gave these to, were just going to hand these over to their kids to play with, that’s cool though – Nice to see them used, and good to know they’ll be hanging around. Here’s hoping that when the man of the house uses it to help with a bit of DIY, he uses it and loves it more.
Drumming up biz for me

Just something small, a gift to hand over when meeting new project developers and others in my trade, just trying to drum up a bit of biz. It let me give something extra without hitting my pocket. I’m pretty happy with it, it’s got a good weighty feel in spite of the plastic design and I was excited to see some guys I went back to were wearing it as keyrings.
